The Problem<\/h3>\n

Google has changed Google Maps so that all websites with domains registered after June 2016 require an API key to work.<\/p>\n

If you are using the Community Yard Sale plugin, and you see an error such as the following, then you need an API Key.<\/p>\n

The Solution<\/h3>\n

You must obtain a Browser API Key from Google. This requires that you have a Google account.<\/p>\n

Go to the Google Maps API page<\/a>, and click the GET A KEY<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

Ensure\u00a0Create a project<\/strong> is selected and click Continue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Pick any Name<\/strong> you like and set the URL<\/strong> of your website as shown and click Create<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

Copy the key that is created.<\/p>\n

Go to your WordPress dashboard, Plugins<\/strong> -> Yard Sale<\/strong> -> Options<\/strong> tab, enter the API key and click Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
